2. JOB PURPOSE
The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organisation's perspective.
To develop and maintain analytical tools to study key business opportunities in acquisition, portfolio management and collections.
To develop and implement robust portfolio management strategies on decision support systems according to business guidelines and track /analyze the results for further recommendations.
To maintain and update the standard dashboards as per the SLA, conduct trend analysis to identify changes in business drivers.

Key Results Areas
§ Implementation of key business strategies on decision support systems such as SAS and DecisionSmart.
§ Create/Maintains/Modify existing Dashboards in SAS Visual Analytics.
§ Maintain and support development of scorecards / decision trees for the risk and marketing using SAS STAT and Tibco Statistica application. This includes application scorecard, behaviour scorecard, attrition scorecard, campaign response models, market basket analysis, etc.
§ Develops ad- hoc dashboards in SAS Visual analytics reporting tool as per business requirements
§ Validates and runs existing scorecards and periodically assesses their performance and recommends changes to management.
§ Provides strategic inputs on portfolio management based on trends and portfolio segmentation
§ Number of new decision models developed/implemented during the year
§ Number of existing decision models reviewed and validated during the year
§ Number of reports / dashboards published as per SLA
§ Number of portfolio management strategy implemented / recommended during the year
§ Number of analytics (ad-hoc / strategic) projects completed
§ Lead and advise the business on usage of advance analytics tools such as SAS, Python, R etc.
§ Lead implementation of advance analytical tools and scoring models in the organization
· Implementing existing/new cross functional portfolio management strategies
· Periodic tracking of strategies implemented to make sure strategies are aligned as per business policies, recommend necessary changes if needed
· Automate Standard reports to user friendly level for easier access and usage for decision making using software like DecisionSmart and SAS Visual Analytics
· Support Marketing and acquisition teams in effective selection for existing and new campaigns
· Tracking performance of campaigns
§ Prepares periodic reports on business performance and communicates the same to senior management and key stakeholders
§ Monthly / Quarterly reports published within schedule
§ Keeps abreast with technology developments affecting analytics practices and related tools / software

This section states the minimum knowledge, experience and abilities required for satisfactory performance of the job.
§ Bachelor’s degree
§ Proficient in written and spoken English.
§ Base SAS and SAS STAT
§ Structured Query Language (SQL)
§ A total of at least 5 years of work experience of which at least 4 years should have been in analytics in a consumer lending organization with experience of credit card / other consumer finance products.
§ Must be hands-on with advanced analytics practices such as score card development, segmentation strategies, cluster analysis, logistic and non-linear regression etc.
§ Must be very strong in using advanced statistical and database management software such as SAS, R, Python, Oracle, and SQL Server.
§ Must have at least 3 years experience in developing and publishing Dashboards / reports as per business requirements / SLA on platforms such as Visual Analytics, Tableau or Microsoft Dynamics
Skills & Competencies:
§ Must have sound knowledge of processes involved in development of statistical models (decision trees, scorecards, etc.) that can be used to predict applicant or customer behaviour.
§ Must possess very strong knowledge of statistical software tools such as SAS, SPSS, R or Python
§ Must have strong PC skills including exposure to all MS Office suite of products particularly in Excel.
